Essential Oils and Cancer:
Using Essential Oils in Daily Body
Care to Repair Hormone Chaos,
Rebuild the Immune System, and
Prevent the Growth of Cancer
Book Two
Nancy Dennett Ducharme
In her second book Mrs. Ducharme makes the reader aware of many potential pitfalls of everyday life that could adversely affect our immune system functions and ultimately our health.
The book is divided into two parts.
During the first part the reader is taken on a quick journey taking stock of major causes of serious depleting impacts on the strength of our natural defences. Mrs. Ducharme takes us into the familiar territory of everyday life and how some foods, cosmetic products and even medical products could adversely affect the function of our immune system, due to the effects of hormone disruptors for example. Her warm hearted style in presenting difficult information never has the reader left feeling out in the cold, despite a cart load of new information to some.
In the second half of the book the author has created and presents a recipe section for many body care products, that bring their beneficial effects to bear on the skin, the dental arena and for proper digestive action and toxin removal from the body. The reasons and applications for these 40 plus preparations are abundantly explained without flooding the reader, new to this subject, with too much specialist terminology.
In summary Mrs. Ducharme has managed to provide a veritable and important companion to her profoundly uplifting first book on essential oils in the management of cancer and it's prevention. It also serves as a first aid resource in any household to expand the knowledge base for anybody dealing with everyday problems. The author manages to put a convincing case that the majority of tumours develop out of the comfort zone of our everyday experience of life (environmental causes) and it's established habits. It inspires hope and comfort, in the knowledge that anybody suffering with this condition is being offered a fighting chance to regain self control in an often chaotic and seemingly hopeless situation.
Last not least, this book would also make a good gift by well meaning friends and relatives to anybody suffering with this condition.
Here too is Dr Mercola's handy reference list of oils and their various uses...
